London Cup 2017

The London Cup 2017 was held at Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens on Saturday 10th June. Great day of petanque. There are many clubs in London ready to welcome all players. Join the Fun!

  • U3A Richmond Petanque Group
Meet and Play at two venues:
1.  Diamond Jubilee Gardens, Twickenham Riverside TW1 3SU  (Twickenham Station)
2.  Palewell Park Sheen SW14 8RF (Mortlake Station)
(Note – U3A Richmond is also  negotiating a new bigger venue but this is taking time and will probably not materialise until next year or later but we still play at the two venues above.)
  • Croydon Petanque Club
We play in Ashburton Park, Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon, CR0 6NN (Postcode is for Tenterden Road entrance – nearest to piste).
Blackhorse Lane, Woodside (Tramstops), Buses 130, 289, 312 are all within 6 minutes walk.
We play on Sunday/Wednesday from 10:00am until around 1:00pm & on Fridays/Saturdays from 1:00pm until around 4:00pm (Later in Summer).

  • Islington U3A Petanque Group

Islington U3A plays primarily at the Clock Tower, Caledonian Park, N7 on Tuesdays from 1030am. Some of the group also play frequently at Parliament Hill and Primrose Hill. Cally Park is less than 5 mins walk from Caledonian Road tube station. ( Contact Mary by email: )

Next to Pitch and Putt.
2/  Southern Rail, Mortlake Station is about 3/4 mile walk (From Waterloo & Vauxhall)
3/  Palewell Park, Pitch and Putt and a small cafe (not always open) Shops 1/2 mile
4/  Purpose built terrain for up to three games simultaneously.
5/ Mostly older players but all welcome
